This middle level 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite offers a panoramic south facing view of Departure Bay and the waterfront below has kayaks waiting for you. Most days you will see eagles and sea lions and otters and deer and hummingbirds and fabulous wildlife including whales occasionally. Everyday you will see boats approaching and crab traps being dropped right in front of your deck! All day long the kayaks, paddleboards, jetskis, yachts, dragonboats and even swimmers will pass by your deck. Sometimes the Coast Guard and patrol boats pass by. Non-stop photo opportunities! Most important is the BC Ferries are passing out front all day long and you might even see your friends waving to you from the deck of the ferries!

The seaplanes fly over your deck and you can almost touch them!

The master bedroom includes a queen bed, sitting area and spacious closet. The second bedroom has two bunk beds. Often groups up to six people have stayed in this suite.

The kitchen is completely equipped and the BBQ is available outside(with a reservation).

We are conveniently located ten minutes by car or bus from the Departure Bay Ferry terminal and Seair terminal in Nanaimo BC. The seaplane(float plane) takes just twenty minutes from Vancouver. Most people will arrive by BC Ferries, and some will fly to Nanaimo Airport(YCD).
