In 1987 I was lucky to be able to go to Japan as a student and two years later I returned to Japan to work for a Japanese bank. I have been coming to Nanaimo from Tokyo since 1989 and love to escape from big cities like Tokyo to the beautiful nature here in Nanaimo. There is everything here -except big crowds. All the nature, activities, sports, shopping, restaurants, arts,  and lifestyle at a relaxed pace.  Vancouver and Victoria are less than two hours away but usually I stay only in Nanaimo.

Now I can invite my friends to visit.

We have several houses and many kinds of rooms. From very basic for students, to luxury suites for people who want to experience living in Nanaimo. Some people come for the great outdoors, others come for the view. Some people come for homestays and some people come to live for a few weeks, months or years.
